Character Analysis

Wolverine

Wolverine is a rebellious mutant super hero who is one of the X-Men. Commonly known as Logan, Wolverine is a mutant who has animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, three retracting bone claws on each hand, and a healing factor that allows him to rapidly recover from any wound, disease, or toxin. His powerful healing abilities led him to a supersoldier program called "Weapon X" which bonds the near-indestructable metal alloy adamantium to his skeleton and claws without killing him.

Wolverine was shot in the head leading him to forget his past. This causes a major inner struggle for Wolverine as he has problems trusting others. His metal alloy adamantium skeleton is both a strength and a weakness. It is a strength because he has indestructable claws which he can use as a weapon, however he can easily be controlled by mutants like Magneto who can control and manipulate metal objects.

Wolverine is a tough anti-authority antihero. He is very fit and designed as a super hero rather than a villain. His pose, costume colors, and moral judgement display him in a positive light.
